Purpose
Ensure the development of the watches category in the region Middle East and India.
Achieve budget on both distribution networks.
Define and implement product action plans.
Support and work with commercial teams and PR & events.¬
On the Initiate watches specifically:
Develop the category client portfolio, in all networks (Internal boutiques and external boutiques). In line with
KPIs defined.
Participate and contribute to the category worldwide community.
Responsibilities
As Group Product Manager: Definition of the marketing strategy for Watches
Collaborate to the strategic plan: market analysis, CME activity analysis, and budget proposal and action
plans definition in order to reach targeted budget.
Budget proposal by segment and network, monthly budget proposal.
Revision of budget for official LE’s.
Manage product category
Revise sales forecasts on a monthly basis and collaborate with Cartier Operations to ensure adequate
product supply.
Supervise weekly product allocations by network / client.
Collaborate with Merchandising team to define assortments and revise every 3 months, and manage
stock objective / quality of the stock (minimum level of status 3 & 4).

Launch new products
Define sales forecasts and assortments in collaboration with Merchandising and Commercial teams.
Define launch plan and coordinate its implementation (Communication, PR, Training, VM, CRM, …).
Manage a team of 1 product manager and coordinate 1 Fine Watch Making BD Manager
Manage, motivate and develop the team.
Manage team workload, decide on priorities.
Participate to recruitments.
Define and communicate product managers’ objectives and evaluate their performance.
As Initiate Watch Product Manager
Define the Initiate Watches marketing strategy
Market analysis, CME activity analysis, and budget proposal and action plans definition in order to reach
targeted budget.
Budget proposal by segment (Initiate watches & Cartier tradition) and network, monthly budget
proposal.
Revision of budget for official LE’s.
Understand competition / market environment
Identify key / relevant competitors; understand their strategy (product offer, distribution strategy, price
positioning, communication strategy, etc. …).
Regularly update competition information.
Inform him/ her and share industry news (press, websites, fairs, etc. …)
Coordinate events
International events: Biennale/SIHH/ International launch
Identify list of client to be invited and their sales staff to accompany them.
Coordinate with PR department in Paris all related trip details: accommodation, transportation,
entertainment.
Manage the trip budget.
Set procedures to limit the cancellation fees.
Train the sales staff accompanying their clients on: products, ethics, behavior, attire.
Internal & regional events:
Identify Events themes suitable for the local market with PR department.
Train the participant staff in advance on: creations, gems details, events agenda,
Coordinate with CRM department on identifying the list of invitees, on sending the invitations on time,
and following up on confirming the attendance.
Coordinate with visual merchandising on optimizing the visibility of the stock.
Manage VVIP relationship
Closely follow with CRM department on developing new/creative ways of recruitment, prepare gifts in
advance for VVIP clients for different ceremonies.
Coordinate with Retail department/Paris on discounts.
Reporting
Group Product Manager
Send Sales forecast report to HQ on monthly basis
Supervise conciliation of HJ consigned stock in ME with Geneva report.
Weekly meeting with Marketing Director.
Follow up on T/O.
Profile
Required experience
8 to 10 years of experience in Marketing
Language abilities
Ability to read, write & speak English, Arabic & French are a “plus”
