SENIOR SALES MANAGER
Job Purpose:
To lead the sales operation for sustainable growth by setting business plan and aligning the BU functional team and frontline management team to this direction and supporting their development of market specific AOP's.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Develop sales business plan for the complete division along with the Sales Manager to meet sales objectives of the BU.
2. Develop and focus on modern trade, convenience trade and overlook distributor on traditional trade objectives and performance.
3. Manage and provide end to end support to private labeling, export & raw materials line of business.
4. Support the frontline in the development and execution of their annual operating plan AOP, including financial framework, initiative calendar and people capability to ensure smooth execution.
5. Track overall sales performance against strategy and adjusts sales plans/investments as necessary to compare actual to the planned.
6. Develop customer business plan (CBP), conduct periodic business review, negotiate & agree on business development agreement (BDA) to regulate the relationship with key account customers (KAC).
7. Conduct quarterly meetings with all the suppliers & key customers to maintain & develop professional relations.
8. Plan & prepare marketing activities of each store keeping unit (SKU) and brand.
9. Coordinate with other functions of the organization to facilitate customer service.
10. Present monthly/quarterly business review to the company management to review performance.
11. Appraise existing sales staff and recruit new ones when necessary to optimize team performance.
Minimum Requirement:
• Bachelor's Degree (preferably Mechanical Engineer)
• 10-14 years of experience in nuts and snacks industry out of which minimum 3 years should be in sales management role
• Demonstrate excellent communication skills (English & Arabic Language)
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work in a diverse and multicultural environment
• Demonstrate the ability to lead a team and plan future capacity requirements
• Strong leadership, management qualities & negotiation skills
• Gender - Male
• Age - 30-40
